It's both microwave and freezer safe for easy heating and cooling. The mask contains plush gel beads and can be microwaved for 30 seconds for 90 minutes of heat or frozen for 3 full hours of cold compress. It's reusable and non-toxic and will not shatter when dropped. Instructions are printed on the tag. CAUTION: product will be HOT after microwaving.
