The Brief

Hospitals play a critical role in disaster readiness — not just for patients, but for entire communities.
For this initiative in Birmingham, Alabama, the goal was simple yet vital: to equip the community with reliable tools as part of a Hospital Emergency Preparedness Giveaway Kit.

The chosen product, our Custom Emergency Radio with LED Flashlight, NOAA Alerts & Solar Hand Crank, was selected for its durability, reliability, and multiple power options — ensuring usability in power outages, natural disasters, and emergency response situations.

The Challenge

The project required 15,000 emergency radios delivered within a strict four-week window.
The main challenges were twofold:

1. Inventory readiness — ensuring all units were immediately available for production and dispatch.
2. Precision delivery — the client needed the shipment to arrive on a specific date annd, with a last-minute schedule change occurring just as the order reached the local FedEx hub.

Managing quality across a 15,000-unit order in such a short timeframe added further pressure. Every single radio had to meet our functional and durability standards.

Our Solution

Since our emergency radios are made to order and always kept in high-volume stock, we were able to begin production immediately.
When the hospital’s required delivery date shifted unexpectedly, our logistics team worked directly with FedEx to hold the stock securely for one week and then release it precisely at the new scheduled time.

This hands-on coordination, including multiple live calls with FedEx dispatch while the shipment was already in transit, ensured a flawless delivery without any damage, delay, or additional cost.

Every unit was also individually quality-checked, resulting in zero defective items — an exceptional outcome for a production of this scale.
